“Happy Ending” is a 2014 Bollywood romantic comedy that playfully explores the clichés of rom-coms while telling the story of Yudi, a one-hit wonder writer who has lost his fame and inspiration. Living a carefree life in Los Angeles, Yudi is forced to confront his fears of commitment and professional decline when he’s asked to write a Bollywood-style romantic script. Things take a turn when he meets Aanchal, a successful author who doesn’t believe in love. What follows is a witty, self-aware journey through modern relationships, love, and self-discovery.
