Pardes (1997): Directed by Subhash Ghai, Pardes is a romantic drama that explores the cultural clash between traditional Indian values and Western influences. The story follows Arjun (Shahrukh Khan), who is sent by his mentor Kishorilal (Amrish Puri) to bring Ganga (Mahima Chaudhary), a simple village girl, to the USA to marry Kishorilal’s Americanized son Rajiv (Apurva Agnihotri). However, as Arjun and Ganga grow closer, complications arise.
