“Malaal” is a 2019 Bollywood romantic drama film that marks the debut of Meezaan Jafri and Sharmin Segal. Set in Mumbai, the film follows the story of Shiva, a hot-headed local boy with a carefree attitude, and Astha, a well-educated, reserved girl who has just moved into his chawl. Despite their contrasting personalities and backgrounds, the two gradually fall in love.
