Om Shanti Om (2007) is a Bollywood romantic fantasy film directed by Farah Khan. The story follows Om (Shah Rukh Khan), a junior film artist in the 1970s who falls in love with superstar Shanti (Deepika Padukone in her debut role). However, he is tragically killed while trying to save her from the villainous film producer Mukesh Mehra (Arjun Rampal).
