Dil Se (1998) is a Bollywood romantic thriller directed by Mani Ratnam. The film is set against the backdrop of insurgency in Northeast India and follows the intense, tragic love story of Amar (Shah Rukh Khan), a journalist for All India Radio, and Meghna (Manisha Koirala), a mysterious woman with a dark past.
