Kurukshetra is a 2000 Indian action drama film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.  The story centers on ACP Prithviraj Singh, portrayed by Sanjay Dutt, an upright and fearless police officer who takes a stand against corruption and crime in Mumbai.  Upon his arrival, he dismantles the illegal operations of gangster Iqbal Pasina, who, impressed by Prithviraj’s integrity, becomes his ally.  The plot intensifies when the Chief Minister’s son commits a heinous crime, leading Prithviraj into a confrontation with the corrupt political system.  As he battles against powerful adversaries, Prithviraj’s personal and professional lives intertwine, culminating in a gripping narrative about justice and righteousness.
